To chop or not to chop - meal prep help!
As the new year rolls in, we begin to see ads everywhere to help us start the year off right. Many of those ads include meal prep options such as the popular meal delivery services which send you a recipe with pre-portioned fresh ingredients. You follow the instructions and prep the ingredients for your dinners, and typically you receive 3-4 dinners a week. These services offer a very handy way to make meal planning easier and to eliminate the grocery shopping. The food can be tasty and something different than you may have made on your own. As much as we love the idea, we have heard interesting feedback from our customers.
Many of them have said they enjoyed the food but almost all of them have said they don't like the amount of time it takes to prepare the meals. Coming home after a long, busy day and still having to prep all the ingredients can be timely. It also requires a regular commitment and can be quite costly. Meals are delivered fresh every week and they need to be prepared within a few days. Sometimes plans change and you no longer need all the meals you pre-ordered. It can be quite expensive, averaging of about $10 a serving.
The Dinner Club meals can be preassembled by you or you can simply order meals that we will assemble for you. Once you take them home or have them delivered, you can simply put them in your freezer and save them for when you need them. We do all the prep, chopping and clean up for you, and all you have to do is cook the meal. Many of our dinners can be cooked from frozen and others you simply thaw in your fridge. At about $5 a serving, The Dinner Club meals are quite a bit less expensive. We offer convenient pickup and delivery options.
